Fame On Fire

Fame On Fire crush opening set as they support SiM on the PLAYDEAD WORLD TOUR at show 3 in San Francisco! Just a brief history for those new to Fame On Fire, the band released metal/rock covers in its early years to songs such as “Sugar” by Maroon 5, “Don't Let Me Down” by The Chainsmokers, and “XO Tour Life” by Lil Uzi Vert just to name a few but, gained massive recognition for their cover of Adele’s “Hello” in 2015. Although the band has been active since about 2013 their first studio album LEVELS wasn’t released till 2020 just 4 years ago with their latest album Welcome To The Chaos in 2022 and since then, the band has been increasing in popularity tremendously.

They opened their set with one of their latest singles Nightmare. Song 2 leads us to their latest album’s opening song Welcome to the Chaos, which is one of the top tracks from that album. Third song on the setlist; which is also a top hit from that album, was Ketamine which led into an unreleased song titled Spiral (now officially released). The rest of the set consisted of a 3 Doors Down cover of Kryptonite, another unreleased song called Chains, with one throwback (Headspace) from their first album and closed out with my personal favorite and biggest record from their 2nd album, Plastic Hearts. Stage presence and energy was amazing and definitely felt as they had the venue going wild.

Performance aside from what I can see based on the past couple of years and the recent single releases, Fame On Fire seem to be really finding themselves as they pave their own lane in the metal/rock genre and music industry as a whole. Everything is on an upward trend for these guys. I’d confidently say we’re on the precipice of greatness, the potential is astronomical and I expect these guys to be huge. It’s only a matter of time before they blow up so if you're not already familiar with them now, you will be very soon!
