James Bay stopped in Omaha, NE at The Slowdown for a headliner show while on tour with The Lumineers. The English singer-songwriter recently debuted a new single titled Goodbye Never Felt So Bad. In 2015 his debut album titled Chaos In The Calm was released. I was in college when this album dropped and I remember playing it nonstop. I was a music production major and played it in the recording studio all the time. That record changed my life.
Bay played many hits from that record including his number one single Hold Back The River that went platinum and earned him three Grammy nominations. He also played some newer tunes and one of my favorites Wanderlust from his album Electric Light, which dropped in 2018. James will be playing a few more headlining shows in the US or you can catch him opening for The Lumineers as well! He is a visionary and one of the best musicians around. You don’t want to miss it!
