Janelle Monáe shows us why she is one of a kind with her Age of Pleasure Tour show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in SF. A 10/10 performance would be an understatement. From start to finish from her grand silhouette entrance to the final chapter in her story sectioned show, the energy was above 100 the whole time for a show set that ran about 2hrs long. Just like her album, Janelle made sure to make everyone feel comfortable with who they are and a “love over everything” message. She interacted with many fans throughout the night and some lucky fans even got to go on stage and dance to “pay her pleasure” which is based on her song “Paid in Pleasure”. I think everyone would agree it was definitely our pleasure for the show put on for us.
