The Chainsmokers

The Chainsmokers truly put on a party that felt like it was never ending. The experience was like something out of a movie; like Project X level energy and atmosphere. The show was a 6hr fest with doors opening at 5pm and finishing up at midnight. There were 4 openers, which takes the prize for the show with the most openers I’ve been to and the last openers Two Friends really took preparing a crowd for the headliner to a new level. Their set was so good, I’d argue it was nearly on par as the Chainsmokers. Nevertheless, Drew and Alex (Chainsmokers) already had us won over with the hits that made us fall in love with them in the first place. From Roses, Something Just Like This, & Don’t Let Me Down, to Jungle, Summertime Friends and many more all the way to their biggest hit Closer, the entire setlist was a nostalgic, high energy music fest that left me wishing the show didn’t end. The lighting & pyro was epic, the stage was basically on fire half the time; not literally but the amount of pyro used was pretty substantial. All in all it was a top tier performance and a night I and many others will never forget. Be on the lookout for the next time they’re in your area, you won’t want to miss out.
