The Criticals

August 2, 2023 - Nashville, TN

by Daphne Stubblefield

Packing The Basement East, a sold out crowd showed out for a night of electrifying rock music creating a lively environment accompanied by an abundance of crowd surfing and high spirits for the ever loved Nashville natives, The Criticals. The energy from the crowd was reciprocated as the band commanded the stage during their home show playing favorites including newly released singles ‘Belmont’ and ‘Clever Girl’ to celebrate the release of their newest EP ‘Front Door Confrontations’. Lead singer Parker took a moment during the show to announce, unbeknownst to fans, that guitarist and dear friend, Chuchi Rosas, would be concluding his run with the band and stepping away from his role following that nights’ performance. The true bond these guys have could be felt during the announcement and following as they played their hearts out and left everything on that stage together.

Make sure to stream the new EP by The Criticals, ‘Front Door Confrontations’ where you find music and catch them on tour as they make their way to the West Coast this Fall!
